Seriously, David Gemmell is one of the best fantasy writer I've come across. I was searching thru Amazon site for a good book to read -- yup just search. The ratings on his books were high plus tons of reviews done by customers who bought his book. That was back about 6 years ago when I first came across his books. Got the library to get his books too. It is absolutely delicious.
My one and only complaint about this author.. he needs to write even faster than I can read all his books.
Well this is not about Troy as in Paris and Helen, Hektor or his father King Priam. This is about Helikoan I think I spell it correctly. He is the so called hero in this book. You will read about the Troy famous story as a sideline. Helikoan is one heck of a guy. I shall not divulge into the book too much other wise I shall spill all the beans. The book is not as wonderful like Knights of the Dark Renown, which is a fabulous book by the way, but it is good reading book especially for those who love fantasy genre.
